It's one of the highlights of this summer's music scene so chances are if you like music you'll be hot footing it to BurtonFest 2017.

The music festival featuring names both big and small is now just days away.

Here's what you need to know if you're thinking of rocking up:

When and where is BurtonFest 2017?

The festival is taking place at the National Brewery Centre, Burton, on Saturday July 22 and the fun starts at noon.

The headline acts are X Factor stars Matt Terry and Union J.

Organisers will be releasing the full set times in poster form that you can save to your phone today, Thursday July 20.

BurtonFest will also be championing local talent.

On the day there will be more than 40 acts performing including: Kirby Lauryen, Relley C, Galaxy Thief, Next Stop Mars, Liberty Grant, Ryan Upton, Ashley Sherlock, Jamie Mathias, Victoria Louise, Leo Goldenchild, Sara Strudwick, Tom Kavanagh, The Verse, Modern Comforts, Tilted Smile, Neverise, The Sixth Letter, Ruby Sky, Theia and Black Wolf Catch.

What can I expect to see when I get there?

As well as bars and eateries, you can choose from more than 40 acts who will be performing at one of three stage areas:

The Main Stage: A large, outdoor stage surrounded by open marquees. There will be limited seating, outdoor bars and places to eat. The area in front of the stage will be standing only and will feature a golden circle at the front. You need to get a special ticket for this area.

ViewMyGig Live Stage: An indoor stage in a large, closed marquee, with an indoor bar and limited seating.

The Acoustic Box: An outdoor stage in the purpose-built Festival Street. This area will have outdoor bars, places to eat, stalls and attractions as well as a Merch Tent where you can buy merchandise from the artists.

How old do you have to be to get in?

The festival is open to all ages but under 16s MUST be accompanied by an adult (18 years+).

What does a ticket get me?

A ticket will give you a day access to the whole site and all three stages.

How much are tickets and where can I get them?

General admission tickets cost £20 each. If you're after a Golden Circle Ticket you'll be charged £32.50. The Meet and Greet tickets for Matt Terry and Uniion J are now both SOLD OUT.
