An Etwall school is set to be turned into a theatre, as a production group brings their version of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency to the stage.
Mickleover Players will be visiting John Port School, in Etwall, for four performances of Douglas Adams' hilarious detective mystery.
The show's first performance is on Wednesday, August 30 and will run until Saturday, September 2, beginning at 7.15pm each night.
Sian Davies, from Mickleover Players has explained just what makes this show so unique: "Douglas Adams, the author of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, created Dirk Gently, a detective with a belief that all things are connected, a unique relationship with the laws of probability, and a love of cats and pizza.
"If you've read the book you’ll know what to expect. It'll be clever and funny with a few strange plot twists which resolve themselves by the end of the show. Come and enjoy the ride."
Tickets for the show cost £7 for adults, and £6 for concessions and can be reserved online at www.mickleoverplayers.co.uk or can be bought on the door.
