Do you know any bushy faces that need a little bit of TLC? Well a Burton salon is running a competition to find the worst groomed man in the town.

The lucky winner will win the chance to freshen up their looks with a £3,000 makeover.

The Supercuts store, in Coopers Square shopping centre, in Burton, is looking for any men with extravagant beards, moustaches or any other face hair to be nominated for the award.

Set up to mark Men's Grooming Day, which takes place on August 18, Supercuts has teamed up with grooming products manufacturer, GHD to create the competition.

The winner, along with their nominee, will be taken to London for a day of pampering with GHD. They will also win a GHD goody bag, an overnight stay in the nation’s capital city and £500 in cash to buy a few new additions to their wardrobe to match their new face.

Does you know somebody who needs a bit of a trim around their face?

Business manager for Supercuts in Burton, Michelle Worthington, has explained that they are looking for those men who are clueless when it comes to handling their facial hair.

She said: "We know a tidy appearance is a top priority for many modern men, but there are still blokes out there in need of a beard tame and hair trim. If your man doesn’t know his blow-drys from him his manicures and his eyebrows have seen better days – we want to hear from you. It would be great to see a man from Burton bagging the VIP prize."

To nominate your Abraham Lincoln or Captain Jack Sparrow for the 'groom for improvement' competition, you can do so here.

Entrants for the competition need to be complete and submitted by Wednesday, September 13 and you will need to sum up in 100 words or less why your nomination in need for a bit of grooming.
